Insurance regulators across the country are warning about scam artists walking door to door and selling fictitious "ObamaCare" health-insurance policies with a limited open-enrollment period. In some other states, including Missouri and Michigan, scam artists posing as salespeople have offered insurance policies supposedly linked to healthcare legislation—the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act—which Congress voted into law last month. Some "agents" have even set up bogus toll-free numbers to sell policies, the Hartford Courant reports.
