A 70-year-old Morristown man pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to stealing nearly $1 million in health care premiums as part of a scheme in which he knowingly sold bogus health care coverage, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. David Clark pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud before U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp in Trenton federal court, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced in a news release. Clark and his alleged co-conspirators are accused of defrauding more than 25,000 individuals and multiple employer groups of health care coverage in various states including New Jersey.
