AG seeks to make Ohio 21st state to sue over healthcare law

Making good on a campaign promise, new Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine used day one in office trying to get Ohio added to a lawsuit challenging the legality of the recent healthcare act pushed through by President Barack Obama. The lawsuit has already been joined by 20 states that are suing in federal court in Florida in an attempt to have the law declared unconstitutional. Asserting that the healthcare act "tramples on the rights of Ohio citizens" and is a "huge federal overreach," DeWine shot a letter to Florida Attorney General Pamela Jo Bondi asking to have Ohio added to the list of plaintiffs seeking to overturn the law.
