CHS to sell another 14 hospitals in ongoing effort to downsize

Struggling hospital operator Community Health Systems Inc. sold another 14 hospitals to a number of other hospital systems, including Nashville's HCA Holdings Inc., in its continued effort to pay down its sizable debt. Franklin-based CHS announced Monday it sold the hospitals in five separate transactions. The terms of the agreements have not been disclosed.
