MinuteClinic, the retail healthcare division of CVS Caremark, is teaming with Catholic Healthcare West. While no money changes hands in this affiliation agreement, CHW doctors will serve as medical directors of MinuteClinic's 10 walk-in medical clinics inside select CVS pharmacy stores in the Phoenix area. Eventually, plans call for integrating electronic medical records, said Andrew Sussman, MD, president of MinuteClinic.
