Leadership shift at Reading (PA) Hospital gives doctors more say

When Reading Hospital Chief Executive Officer Scott Wolfe resigned May 7, 2010, a wave of change began. The hospital has an almost entirely new administrative team, and doctors will have a role in all major decisions. Since Wolfe left, the hospital has hired at least 18 directors and other executives, including a new chief executive officer, Clint Matthews, who has a nursing degree.
