100 iPads set for deployment at California Hospital

Nick Volosin, director of technical services at Kaweah Delta Health Care District in Visalia, CA, bought three iPads for testing at its facilities and plans to deploy more than 100 within the next two months or so. In addition to usual office applications such as e-mail, healthcare workers will use the iPads to look at X-ray images, EKG results and various other patient monitoring programs.
