Trump nominates IN doctor for surgeon general

Indiana's top doctor could soon become the nation's surgeon general. President Trump on Thursday nominated Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Jerome Adams to serve as the next surgeon general. Adams was appointed to his current position 2 1/2 years ago by Vice President Mike Pence, at the time Indiana's governor.
