With Reading Hospital being the only profitable part of Tower Health System, a debt-rating agency has suggested Tower evaluate whether its other hospitals fit into its system. Low patient volumes and revenues at Tower's other hospitals in Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties continue to be a drain on the system financially, said Standard & Poor's in a recent bond rating downgrade.
