A small independent critical-access hospital in western Clinton County with financial issues has created a GoFundMe page with a goal of $1.5 million. The “Your Community, Your Hospital, Your Choice. Help!” page was the idea of a board member, Timothy J. Reeves, president and CEO of the Bucktail Medical Center, said Wednesday.
The small town of Bristow is about to have a local hospital once again. The previous operators owned the licenses needed to run the hospital, leaving the new operators, Carrus Health, to get new ones. The issue was the building needed major upgrades to be up to code to get them.
