The risk of increased health care utilization among children with a chronic medical condition is higher for those who also have a sleep disorder, according to a new study.
The agency faulted the device maker for delayed notice of mounting complications, citing increasing reports of how use of the device perforated the walls of the heart.
The statistics revealed that 59.5% of the infants who died suddenly were sharing a sleep surface at the time of death, and 75.9% were in an adult bed when they died.
