Albany Medical Center has begun accepting COVID-19 patients from the New York City area, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation. Sources say the patients were transferred to Albany Med late Tuesday night via ambulance and air transport, and that they came from Jamaica Hospital and Flushing Hospital in Queens.
