Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup said Sunday it is canceling more than 140 elective surgeries this week after discovering flecks of plastic on some surgical trays. KIRO 7 reached out to a spokesperson who said sometime last week, the hospital noticed the plastic after the trays left the sterilization processing system.
