New bill proposed would allow WI hospitals to hire more physician assistants

The Wisconsin senate could soon vote on a bill that would change the way healthcare is structured and physician assistants are pushing for the change. "We see this aging of our population so there’s such a demand on healthcare but a lot of times we don’t have enough providers to be out there," said Kim Shefchik a Physician Assistant at Bellin in Green Bay.
