Atrium Health’s billion-dollar investment into its facilities at Carolinas Medical Center continues as plans for a new bed tower push forward. The Charlotte-based healthcare giant filed a building permit with Mecklenburg County on Nov. 29 for a 1.2 million-square-foot, 12-story bed tower.
