Ex-LA hospital owner convicted of Medicare fraud gets prison for recruiting Skid Row patients

A former Los Angeles hospital owner has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for paying a recruiter to bring in Skid Row homeless for unnecessary treatment. The U.S. attorney's office says 75-year-old Robert Bourseau was sentenced and must pay $4.1 million in restitution for defrauding Medicare and Medi-Cal.
