Amwell unveils telehealth program for small physician practices

The Boston-based telehealth vendor launched a solution targeted at smaller-scale provider practices employing fewer than 100 clinicians, according to MobiHealthNews. Dubbed Amwell Private Practice, the program allows clinicians to book virtual visits for existing patients, prescribe meds virtually, and collect payments — and Amwell has eliminated per-provider fees through the end of June, at which point some experts predict coronavirus outbreaks will hit a lull in the US.
