A judge urged attorneys to resolve a two-year-old lawsuit against a Dearborn, MI, doctor and Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center that charges the physician intentionally misdiagnosed hundreds of children with epilepsy to drive up his hospital salary and that the hospital failed to stop him, even after other physicians alerted it to their concerns. The judge ordered the attorneys to interview more people and review more records in an attempt to reach a settlement. They are expected to report progress to the judge by September.
