Brad Smith picked to lead Trump administration's federal healthcare innovation center

A former Rhodes scholar and Nashville-based entrepreneur has been named a top health care official in President Donald Trump's administration. The Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Monday that Brad Smith, 37, will take over as director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.
