Opinion: Healthcare organizations can seize this moment to make access more equitable

Equitable access to healthcare means that everyone can receive affordable, effective, high-quality, culturally appropriate treatment in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that’s not the case today. The difference in treatment levels afforded to different people, whether it is communities of color or those located in rural settings, is well-documented from both an access and outcome perspective.
