Readmissions

In September of 2013, a four question survey on readmissions was sent to members of the HealthLeaders Media Council. Respondents include senior leaders from hospitals, physician organizations, health systems and other groups. Respondents were asked about CMS’s readmissions penalties, strategies for reducing readmissions, as well as coordinating with and selecting home health providers in light of readmission guidelines. A total of 106 completed surveys are included in the analysis.
