An estimated 500 St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial hospital employees who are members of the National Union of Healthcare Workers plan to hold a 24-hour strike starting on Nov. 20. The union has been without a current contract since April and a union representative said 91% of the union members voted in favor of the strike.
