Daniel Kane will retire as president/CEO of Bayonne Medical Center effective Jan. 31. Mark Spektor, DO, will succeed Kane effective Feb. 1. The transition process will begin in the coming weeks in order to ensure a smooth and effective transfer of duties and responsibilities. Kane will continue to serve the hospital by assuming the position of chair of the board of directors and as a consultant. Lawler will remain on the hospital's board of directors as well.
