The president of Bayside's St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children was named one of Queens Chamber of Commerce's Business Persons of the Year in 2022. Dr. Edwin Simpser, who doubles as the CEO of the children's hospital, was recognized by the business network after working for more than 20 years in St. Mary's.
