CMS chief Seema Verma: Medicare plans better than ever but Medicare should not be for all

As the open enrollment season for Medicare begins, federal Medicare chief Seema Verma came to an Indianapolis senior facility to tout this year’s Medicare Advantage plans as costing less and offering more supplemental benefits. Speaking at the Nora Commons on the Monon Senior Apartments, Verma encouraged the room full of people to take a good look at the plans available between now and the close of the enrollment season on Dec. 7.
