Dr. Annette Bosworth was one of about 60 physicians invited to the White House last week to talk about electronic health records, a subject in which she's an expert. This week, she's scheduled to go before the state's medical licensing board where she faces possible punishment over an opinion piece she wrote in the Argus Leader last month. The staff of the South Dakota Board of Medical & Osteopathic Examiners is investigating Bosworth for the May 30 piece in which she criticized the board's licensing application and disclosure forms that doctors are required to complete each time they renew their licenses.
