The El Paso Specialty Hospital, a longtime part of El Paso's medical community, is closing at the end of the year due to "growing financial and operational challenges," hospital officials announced. The hospital, located at 1755 Curie Drive and Murchison Drive in the so-called "Pill Hill" area of Central El Paso, specializes in orthopedic and spine surgeries.
