Federal government needs to figure out "key drivers" of physician burnout, U.S. HHS deputy secretary says

In an industry dealing with changing regulations, evolving technologies and a greater emphasis on quality, physicians and other medical professionals are battling burnout. Eric Hargan, deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, said the federal government can play a role in addressing this problem, through a combination of regulatory reforms and other approaches.
