Under investigation for allegedly over-prescribing fentanyl and other powerful painkillers, a former West Covina mayor who is also a medical doctor has closed his longtime practice in the city. In a letter to his patients, Dr. Forest Tennant wrote that he would be closing the Veract Intractable Pain Medical Clinic and retiring as of Sunday.
