Governor Newsom establishes commission to provide universal healthcare

Governor Gavin Newsom has set up a commission to look into providing universal health care in California. The governor made the announcement yesterday that he is launching the Healthy California for All Commission, which has the goal of working towards a single payer system in the Golden State. The 17 person group will investigate health care systems around the world to try and find out what could work here.
