Health officials urge flu shots as holidays approach and more go to hospital

Flu-related hospitalizations are increasing, and health officials are urging Ohioans to get their flu shot as the holidays approach. Ohio Department of Health data released last week showed the state recorded 108 influenza-related hospitalizations from Nov. 10 to Nov. 16, up from 83 the previous week. In Butler and Warren counties, there were four and three influenza hospitalizations, respectively, according to the data.
