Spring Hill, TN, ER plan advances

A 10,000-square-foot emergency treatment center could open in Spring Hill, TN, as soon as late 2012 if approved by the state this fall and uncontested by other healthcare facilities. The estimated $9.2 million project is proposed by HCA's TriStar Health System. TriStar officials filed a certificate of need application with the state Health Services Development Agency in Nashville, then publicly presented the plans in Spring Hill. The emergency room would be a satellite operation of Centennial Hospital.
