Tennova to close Physicians Regional, Lakeway Regional hospitals by end of year

Tennova Healthcare will be closing operations at the North Knoxville Physicians Regional Medical Center by the end of the year, the company announced in a Thursday news release. Operations at both the Physicians Regional facility, formerly known as St. Mary’s, and Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown will cease Dec. 28 at midnight, Tennova officials said.
