The board of regents at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas have signed off on a proposal to start planning a new university hospital. A planning process for the hospital was launched in December. A dozen groups, including nurses, physician assistants, technicians, and administrators, are developing recommendations for the new hospital. Recommendations related to hospital programming and schematic designs will be presented in March, the Dallas Morning News reports.
