Hundreds of nurses and other union workers rallied outside Temple University Hospital Tuesday to pressure hospital management to meet their bargaining demands. Rural areas in Nebraska could get a health care boost thanks to a grant. The more than 1 and half-million dollars goes to the University of Nebraska Medical Center's College Of Nursing. The funding will be used to launch a residency program. Doctor of Nursing, Leann Holmes, says it will not only help residents learn skills for working with medically complex patients but also how to work in rural Nebraska.
