SUNY Sullivan and Catskill Regional Medical Center are partnering to bolster the college’s nursing program and grow the profession in the county. College President Jay Quaintance and hospital CEO Jonathan Schiller signed a memorandum on Monday on campus in Loch Sheldrake to provide SUNY Sullivan with a hospital nursing administrator to serve as the director of the school’s nursing program.
Nurses at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo are once again voting on a new contact. That voting began on Monday morning and will continue through Tuesday. This is the second time in recent weeks that the nurses have been presented with a new contract on which to vote.
