Bacterial outbreak in WI remains a mystery

Three and a half months after health officials started investigating an unusual bacterial outbreak that has sickened about 60 people in Wisconsin and may have contributed to 19 deaths, the cause of the illnesses remains a mystery. Wisconsin has confirmed 59 cases and 18 deaths, with four more possible cases and one death impossible to confirm because samples are no longer available, health officials said Wednesday.
