Nevada cap on medical damage awards draws criticism

Medical malpractice reform in Nevada that was overwhelmingly supported by voters there in 2004, namely the $350,000 cap on damages for pain and suffering, continues to draw ire among patients and attorneys in particular. Now, some lawmakers are wondering whether the law should be amended to better protect the public.
