A New York physician admitted Thursday to taking roughly $400,000 in bribes from a Morris County blood testing lab, becoming the 45th person convicted in a massive patient-referral scheme. Ricky J. Sayegh, 44, of Scarsdale, pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to a charge of accepting cash bribes in violation of the federal travel act, according to a statement from the office of Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick.
