Contract deadline looms for Jersey Shore, Southern Ocean nurses

Nurses at four Hackensack Meridian Health facilities have voted to take action — from informational picketing to an outright strike — if they don't reach agreement on a new contract soon, the union said Wednesday. The Health Professionals and Allied Employees union said it hoped the move would prompt executives to address their biggest concern: staffing.
