Demand for nurses expected to increase

As the Baby Boomer generation continues to age out of the workforce, the demand for health care professionals is expected to continue to grow, but there is some concern over whether enough people will be available to meet the need. Though the overall numbers are supposed to be met, a nursing shortage is expected to arise in some states at different times before 2030. The shortage is expected to hit different parts of the nation at different times, but in some places not at all.
