A scholarship established in memory of Tim Brown, a South Carolina nurse practitioner shot and killed last May in an apparent robbery in his home, will help others become nurses.
Fundraising is underway for the scholarship, which will provide $1,000 scholarships to two students earning a bachelor of science in nursing degree annually and one full-tuition scholarship, approximately $38,000, every two years to a student enrolled in the master of science in nursing-family nurse practitioner program at Francis Marion University.
