Texas Nurses Association says new abortion law puts target on their backs

Texas' strict abortion law has Texas nurses on edge.

Senate Bill 8 allows you to report anyone suspected of helping a pregnant person get an abortion.

We spoke with the Texas Nurses Association about why they say this new law is putting a target on nurses' backs.

"We do not want nurses to be in a position of being reported based on, on a suspicion," Cindy Zolnierek, CEO of the Texas Nurses Association, said.
