Kaiser, mourning CEO Bernard Tyson, vows to continue his work

The unexpected death last Sunday of Kaiser Permanente CEO Bernard Tyson, a popular and vibrant fixture in local and industry circles, has left a void that the huge nonprofit health care system may find hard to fill. It leaves Kaiser, which is headquartered in Oakland and has more than 200,000 employees nationally, mourning the loss of someone many feel was a moral voice for the organization and the health care industry at large.
