McClung resigns as Baptist Health president and CEO

Baptist Health announced April 19 that President and CEO Brett McClung will resign effective May 1. McClung joined the system in July 2019. “This was a difficult decision that I reached after much reflection,” McClung said in a news release. “It has been a privilege working with what I consider to be the best health care team in northeast Florida and I am proud of all we have accomplished together. Baptist Health has always been financially and reputationally strong, and I know they will continue to be this community’s health care leader.”
