Village in Wisconsin wants jury to rule on hospital sewer fees

The Village of Jackson, WI, wants a jury to force Synergy Health St. Joseph's Hospital to pay more than $1.6 million in sewer connection fees, attorney fees and other costs. The lawsuit follows a Wisconsin appeals court decision in 2007 that affirmed a Circuit Court ruling ordering the hospital to pay the village a $1.08 million connection fee for municipal sewer and water service.
