Haywood Regional Medical Center announced that Chris Brown has been named chief executive officer (CEO), effective Nov. 28, 2022. With more than a decade of healthcare industry experience, Brown joins Haywood Regional from Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, where he previously served as chief operating officer (COO) and interim CEO.
