Hospitals in Maine and around the country are addressing challenges to healthcare and working toward getting back to pre-pandemic financial status. Like many other during the Covid-19 pandemic, St. Mary’s in Lewiston had difficulty finding staff for many positions, including nursing and other patient care areas.
