On Monday, nurse Michele Brown won’t be working in the emergency department of Asante Ashland Community Hospital.
Instead, she’ll be on administrative leave for refusing to follow a state mandate that all Oregon health care and K-12 school workers and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or seek a medical or religious exception.
