Care New England eliminates 3 top jobs to reduce costs

Rhode Island's second-largest health care system, Care New England, has eliminated three top executive jobs in a cost-cutting measure. Sandra L. Coletta, executive vice president and chief operating officer, "personally recommended the elimination of her role" in an effort "reduce the number of executive layers and streamline the senior management level," Dennis D. Keefe, the company's president and chief executive officer, said in a staff announcement.
